NEEDED:
12 Month loan on 12% interest rate
We will employ a highly professional and experienced crew - one that is expert and skilled
at working with modest budgets and stretching resources so that the final product is both technically and aesthetically
pleasing. We have already been in touch with Cuba Gooding Jr. and other actors of this profile.
Expected Free Publicity:
We anticipate a considerable amount of free publicity for this motion picture for this motion
picture, starting with pre-production and continuing through all phases of the film. We expect European print and electronic
media, as well as the film's actors and actresses, to contribute substantially to publicity surrounding the motion picture.
We have obtained a world-class crew that will be involved in this production that include martial artists,
stunt doubles, special effects, set design and construction, technical advisors, lighting and film crew. This list
includes Gabe Videla (35 year veteran of special effects), James Salisbury (Director of over 1000 Commercial and Cable Movies), Tom Schaus
and Stephen Downing (Writer, Producer and Expert in Distribution and Negotiations).
We are in negotiations with publishing companies and we are working on various merchandising deals including Books,
Clothes, Toys, Videos and Comics.
The Film Making Process:
During the film making process (4-8 months) a film progresses through several phases.
During the first phase, the production company writes a script and finances the re-drafts that may
be required.
After an approved screenplay has been fully prepared, the film enters the packaging stage during which the
production company options or otherwise assembles the director, principal actors and other key creative personnel, and prepares
the film's budget.
In addition, the production company must provide financing for the film. The number and combination of financing
sources and vehicles is limited only by the imagination. These include private investors, publicly or privately raised pools of film
investment capital, film studios, distribution of pre-sales of ancillary rights.
Once the financing is in place, the film is ready for pre-production. During the following 1 or 2 months,
locations and crew are selected, casting is completed and the shooting schedule is planned and implemented.
Next, the principal photography or actual shooting of the film is commenced (generally 5 to 12 weeks).
After completion of principal photography, post-production ensues for 2 to 5 months; the director and producer
agree upon cuts; re-arrangements of other changes in the raw film footage, and the necessary dialogue, music, sound effects and optical
effects are added. The result of this effort is the answer print, from which prints are made for release to theaters.
Although in the past decades the process of film making has not changed, the structure of the industry has. Whereas before,
the development, packaging, financing and production of a film were activities conducted in-house, each activity is now often undertaken by a seperate
outside business entity. In 1989, for example, each major studio acquired more films from independent production companies then it made in-house.
